Guide to Los Angeles Kings Twitter Feeds (In Constant Progress)

Guide to Los Angeles Kings Twitter Feeds (In Constant Progress)

One of the most entertaining aspects of our beloved team is their presence in social media.  Here’s a quick guide to the LA Kings’ Twitter Presence.  I will be continually updating this list.  I currently have the active roster and Bailey and Ice Crew listed, but there are many, many more categories to cover, so be patient with me!

The most important Twitter feed in the entirety of the LA Kings’ Social Media force is Bailey.  @BaileyLaKings
Whether you like or dislike Bailey, you’ll wind up liking him once you’ve read his Twitter.  He updates with contests, news tidbits, fun chirping across the team and league, and also links you to other important aspects of the LA Kings.  Follow him first, then continue down this list.

Active Roster

@LAKings  Obviously, the main page.  They give game updates during games, interesting tidbits, and a bit of chirping here and there.  Occasionally, there is a guest host.

@DustinBrown23  Good ole Cap’n.  Very rarely tweets.  When he does, it’s usually to compliment someone else or laud someone else’s achievements, much like during games.

@dewyy8  Drewwwwwwww.  Very, very rarely tweets, but when he does it’s usually when several of the guys are going back and forth about something.

@trevorlewis22 Tweets almost never, but he retweets relevant things from across the team.

@colinfraser  Tweets fairly regularly, often about other sports and topics

@Dustinpenner25  Probably the most amusing of the bunch, he’s also loved by bloggers, newspapers, and sportswriters across the nation… because he provides us with free material.

@AnzeKopitar  Pretty rarely tweets.  When he does, it’s usually about his family or homeland.

@J_muzzz  Has yet to tweet.  Ever.  Has never retweeted.  Still has 2,125 followers as of the time of this writing.  I firmly believe that if Jake Muzzin tweeted, Twitter would become a passing fad and we’d all move to another social media organization.

@MRichie_10  Mike Richards.  Another rare tweet-er-er.  Does retweet interesting things.

@JonathanQuick32  When he does tweet, it’s usually to laud a fellow teammate or about a different sport.  There was an amusing time where his “daughter” was playing games on his Ipad, and having left his Twitter logged in, we were getting all of the zombie killing scores.

@tytoff16  Tyler Toffoli.  Worth following, tweets fairly often.  Our beloved rookie.  It’s Toffy Time!

@ellerby88  Keaton Ellerby.  Was so excited about joining the Kings, he changed his profile picture before getting on the plane to LA.

@amartinez_27  Alec Martinez.  Tweets about charity work, and retweets interesting things occasionally.

Jeff Carter-  So far as I can tell, he does not have a Twitter account.  Some of the players follow a fake Carter account, which is occasionally amusing.
Kyle Clifford-  No Twitter account that I can track down.  Just beard related stuff.
Dwight King- No Twitter account that I can track down.  Just goofy pictures.
Jordan Nolan- No Twitter account that I can track down.
Brad Richardson- No Twitter account that I can track down.
Justin Williams- No Twitter account that I can track down.
Matt Greene- No Twitter account that I can track down.  Wish he had one so we could track his rehab progress.
Robyn Regehr- No Twitter account that I can track down.
Rob Scuderi- No Twitter account that I can track down.
Slava Voynov- No Twitter account that I can track down
Jonathan Bernier- No Twitter account that I can track down
Jarret Stoll- No Twitter account that I can track down.

Support Crew (Ice Crew and such)

@BaileyLAKings  Probably the number one most important Kings twitter account to follow.  Contests, chirping, updates, and an overall good time.  If there was a Stanley Cup for sports Twitter feeds, Bailey sweeps the series, hands down.

@LAKingsIceCrew  The beautiful ladies and charming men of the Ice Crew.  Daily updates with events outside of the Staples Center, pictures of the lovely ladies, etc.  A must follow.

@Gabby_Gabbers  Tweets frequently, responds frequently.  The cover girl for the calendar this year.  Also comes to a fair amount of the watch parties.  Lovely gal, fun, hopefully will be a member of the Ice Crew for some time to come!

@ashleyyclaree  Ashley, one of my favorite Ice Crew ladies.  A rookie this year, but she’s quite fun and charming in person.  JUST jumped onto Twitter as of April 14th, so we’ll see if she gets into it or not.  I hope so!  Also an English 101 teacher, so watch your grammar.

@JessSanchez27- Jessica is another of my favorite Ice Crew girls.  She’s dangerous, though.  Look over both your shoulders, at the same time, because she might just be there.  Ready to strike.  Or something.

@AlexisLauro  Tweets pretty consistently, fun to read.

@ally_mello  Doesn’t tweet very often really, but when she does she’s just oozing of sweetness.

@RCofficial  Arsee Hahn  Tweets frequently, fun reading.

@LilBecksterP  Becky, tweets fairly frequently, and you can just feel how much she loves her job and team with each tweet.

@ohcarrlyn  Carrlyn has been working the mic with Jay a bit, and she’s also involved with the Vision team.  Keeps you updated on media updates.

@duncamal  Cassie, tweets occasionally, usually links to instagram.

@VManning1- Vanessa, her twitter account is locked and protected, must be approved to follow.

@Intcher  I’m assuming this is Intcher, since it’s a unique name and all, and his only follower is the Ice Crew.

Eilene- No twitter account I can track down
Hailey- No twitter account I can track down
Hannah- No twitter account I can track down
Jake- No twitter account I can track down
Jose- No twitter account I can track down
Kris- No twitter account I can track down
Michael- No twitter account I can track down
Niki- No twitter account I can track down
Priscilla- No twitter account I can track down
Richard- No twitter account I can track down
Ryan- No twitter account I can track down
Taylor- No twitter account I can track down

 Broadcasters, Writers, Etc.

@JAYFLATS  Jay Flats, the “In-Arena Host” AKA Hype Man.  Another must follow, tweets very frequently.

@BobMillerKings  Bob Miller doesn’t tweet very often, but my favorite tweet is great.  ”I get the Cup for 2 days because I’m Bob Miller.”

@JimFox19  Jim Fox, tweets about the morning skate, lineup pairings, etc.

@DarylEvans15  Beloved by all, tweets fairly frequently.

@Patrick_ONeal  Definitely worth a follow, tweets about LA sports in general.  Occasionally does contests.

@AnsonCarterLA  Anson Carter.  That’s all I have to say about that.

@lakingsinsider  Jon Rosen, the “Kings Insider.”  This guy is an absolute, 100% must follow.  Want to know who’s between the pipes tonight?  Jon will let you know.  Want to know how practice is going, when they arrive into town, etc… this guy will know.  Follow him now.

@mayorNHL  John Hoven. Not specifically an LA Kings’ writer, but he does have a friendly bias towards LA.

This is in progress, if you have something you’d like to see added, let me know!
